Symbolisms of Apples
Apple can be a symbol with multiple implications, and they all seem to relate to corporal needs and desires. Apple represents beautiful temptations. It also brings upon the imagining, confronting, choosing, and feeling of these enticing desires, calling for curiosity, enjoyment, excitement, fear, addiction, befuddlement, anxiety, pain, regret, and anger.
If we can have everything we ever wanted, if we can summon wind and call for rain, if there is no need for a higher spiritual guidance, if we make ourselves God, putting the power of control of all lives on earth upon our own shoulders, wouldn’t the burden of all responsibilities be so colossal to the point that physically we could not even hold up or move anymore, and thus bringing forth our own demise?
In our human history, our innate curiosity and desires for better things propelled us to accomplish great technological and industrial achievements, improving most of our physical needs. However, the same curiosity also led us to dangerous pitfalls and trapped ourselves in pain, disorientation, emptiness, and disappointment. Every time our human race took a great leap forward in some kind of industrial and technological advancements, we got overtaken by a sense of superiority and entitlement, and we got deceived by our own shortfalls, resulting in the failure to balance civilization progress and ecological equilibrium. We all have shortcomings and we are not perfect, but we can try to reflect, learn, understand, love, compromise, and cooperate. Only then can we have the chance to find and achieve a better balance, learning and accomplishing our true purposes on earth.

蘋果有意思，它代表著各種我們肉體所需要、所渴求。蘋果象征著美麗的誘惑，誘惑的想象、面對、抉擇，感受，其包含好奇、喜愛、興奮、害怕、沈迷、不解、困擾、迷惘、煩躁、痛苦、懊悔、憤怒，也許這便是最初。如果我們所有想要的都能得到，並且可以呼風喚雨，其間不需要比人類更偉大的精神，我們就是神了，全世界萬物主宰的使命落在自己肩上，不會讓我們沈重地在原地打坐、寸步難行、甚至加速自我的摧毀嗎？
天生的好奇心和想要過的更安穩舒適的欲望，推動人類在歷史中實現了很多發明。而科技工業上的進步，更加速地造就了今日的文明社會和豐衣足食的生活。同時，欲望產生的好奇心也可能帶領我們陷入危險的陷阱、痛苦的深淵、空虛、迷惘和絕望。一次次的文明進步之後，每每人類被自我的優越，感固步自封地捆綁住，而始終還沒有使整個地球的文明進步和生態平衡穩定維持。我們自身的不足，需透過不斷的自省、認知、包容、愛及合作才能共同達到更好的平衡、圓滿完成上天給予我們特殊的使命。
