When people in the world ignore the expansion of desire, it will naturally bring about overturning.

At the end of 2019, Irene Chang was invited by the international organization Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) to create artwork according to the story of Sodom from the Book of Genesis. As the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in early 2020, she recreated Sodom in brand new media.
Irene Chang chose to stage the raging flames right before the viewers,
A faithful depiction of the wickedness induced by greed.
In Sodom, the city of sins, the worst of humanity was laid bare.
Scrambling for power, the wicked prevailed.
Surrounded by the wicked, men unknowingly fell corrupted as well.
The righteous became the handful few, falling into self-denial.
The line between the wicked and the righteous shall never be subject to mortals,
As the law of the Universe operates from the beginning of time.
Only willingness to reflect leads to a different path.
Nietzsche once said,
"Whoever fights monsters shall see to it that in the process
he does not become a monster.
And if you gaze long enough into an abyss,
the abyss will gaze back into you."
It refers to not only the wicked living in the city of Sodom
Who intertwined and drowned themselves into grievous lust and sins.
Though Lot's wife was not wicked on her escape,
Tempted by the past,
She failed to move on towards a righteous future.
The ignorance and innocence in human nature,
The line between the righteous and the wicked,
Is a lesson that all men shall take.
In the balance of life,
Could it be possible to set aside personal desires and
Admire the light of common ideals?
In tough times, who you choose to be
Makes a difference to the world.
